Device health

The Device Health area enables reseller partners and sub-partners to view the details of reports associated with their dashcams and auxiliary cameras.

Getting around the Device Health area

There are two tabs in the Device health area.

Device health tab

The Device Health area enables reseller partners and sub-partners to view the details of reports associated with their dashcams and auxiliary cameras.

The Devices health tab enables reseller partners and sub-partners to view the details of any health reports associated with their dashcams. If a connected dashcam does not have recordings, the Recording Health icon turns red.

Column or Component

Description

Device Name

The name you gave the dashcam.

IMEI

The IMEI number of the dashcam. This is the identification number of the dashcam.

The IMEI number can be found on the sticker on the dashcam itself or on the back of the dashcam box.

You can filter for specific IMEI numbers by the whole number or any part of the IMEI number.

Organization

The organization with which the dashcam is associated.

Data Profile

The data profile of the dashcam.

Last Connected At

The date when the dashcam was last connected.

Version

The firmware version of the dashcam.

Partner Database

The reseller partner database with which the dashcam is associated.

Number of Auxiliary Cameras

The number of auxiliary cameras associated with the dashcam.

SD Cards Inserted

Indicates whether an SD card is inserted in the dashcam or not.

Recording Health Updated

The last time the recording health of the dashcam was verified.

Recording Health

Indicates whether the dashcam has recordings. By default, Recording Health is in a 'Not Tested' state, dsiplayed in grey. Thirty minutes after the dashcam turns on, the Health monitor checks for recordings. If there are recordings, Recording Health displays 'Healthy' in green. If there are none, Recording Health displays 'Unhealthy' in red. The health monitor continues to check the dashcam every hour.

Email

Click pp-device-email-icon.png to add recipients to receive alarm reports by email.

Prepare Download

  1. Click pp_health_prepare_download.png to download a CSV file of the report.

    When the download is ready, the button changes.

  2. Click pp_health_download_now.png.

SD card retention tab

The SD card retention tab allows reseller partners and sub-partners to view, search, and download a report of the SD card retention times for their dashcams and auxiliary cameras. Column or Component

Description

IMEI

The IMEI number of the dashcam. This is the identification number of the dashcam.

You can filter for specific IMEI numbers by the whole number or by any part of the IMEI number.

Road-Facing Lens

The retention time for the road-facing lens of the dashcam.

In-Cabin Lens

The retention time for the in-cabin lens of the dashcam.

Auxiliary Camera 51, 52, etc.

The retention time for the auxiliary camera, according to the camera ID.

Prepare Download

  1. Click pp_health_prepare_download.png to download a CSV file of the report.

    When the download is ready, the button changes.

  2. Click pp_health_download_now.png.

Actions

To open a dropdown menu (where one exists), click the arrow in the relevant column. Additionally, click below the name of most columns to do a text search. To increase or decrease the size of the table, select the number of rows to display from the dropdown list in the lower left corner of the area.
