Update the billing status of a dashcam

The billing status options are:

  • active - the dashcam is active and being billedDashcam activation and billing

  • deactivated - the dashcam is not active and not being billed

  • suspended - the dashcam is not active and not being billed. A monthly suspension fee may apply. Contact your partner success manager for details

  • pending activation - the dashcam has been ordered but not yet active and is not being billed

Partners can set billing status to deactivatedsuspended, or pending activation as detailed below.

Status features

Active

  • Billing at full subscription rate.*

  • The device is assigned to an organization and connected to the cloud.

  • The device is fully functional.

  • Can change to suspended or deactivated.

Deactivated

  • No monthly billing.

  • Reactivation fee applies.*

Suspended

  • Billing monthly suspension fee.*

  • No reactivation fee.

  • Can change to pending activation or deactivated.

Pending activation

  • Ready for first-time activation or ready to come out of suspended or deactivated status.

  • Changes to active when assigned to an organization, powered, and connected to the cloud.

To update the billing status:

  1. From the row of the dashcam whose status you want to update, open the three-dot menu and select Device information.

    The Device information window opens and the billing status is displayed.

  2. From the drop-down menu, change the Billing status.

  3. Click Change to save your changes.
